HELD: Somatic Mentorship
You’ve Mastered the Ability to ‘Handle It’ and you’re exhausted. Now Your Body Can Learn How to Feel Supported.
You’ve learned how to be strong.
But something inside still longs to be held…
You’re capable. Responsible. Self-sufficient.
You show up, you handle things, and you keep going — even when it’s a lot. You’re the person people turn to when things become difficult.
From the outside, you seem strong.
But beneath that strength, there’s often a quieter experience that doesn’t get seen.
A quiet loneliness.
An undernourished heart.
A sense that only the strong, competent part of you is welcome in the world.
When you grow up in an environment where emotional nourishment is limited and you have to become the mature, responsible one early on, your nervous system adapts.
It learns that being strong is what keeps things stable.
That needs can be set aside.
That it’s safer to rely on yourself than to depend on others.
So you become the one who can handle it.
When you’re tired, you keep going.
When you feel overwhelmed, you push through.
When you need support, part of you believes you should handle it alone.
Your strength becomes your identity. But your vulnerability gets left behind. Over time, this takes a toll.
Your nervous system stays on overdrive— moving between pressure, urgency, and exhaustion.
Your body carries tension in your shoulders, your gut, your jaw.
And underneath it all, there is a heart that quietly longs to not always have to be the strong one. To be seen and nourished-whether or not you’re pasting a smile on your face.
These parts of you — the ones that feel tired, tender, or unseen — often hold the emotional residue of unmet emotional needs from earlier in life.
In a high-functioning life, these parts rarely receive attention.
Yet they are often the ones quietly waiting to be met and to belong.
HELD: 1:1 Somatic Mentorship is for people who are ready to move beyond understanding their patterns…and begin to shift them at the level of the body.
Instead of focusing on fixing yourself or analyzing your past, this work gently shifts attention toward the body and the nervous system - where these patterns live.
Together, we create a space where your system can begin to soften and your inner life can begin to unravel.
Where the pressure to hold everything together starts to ease.
Where your feelings and needs can come back into awareness.
Where the parts of you that have quietly carried so much for so long…can finally be met and receive the nourishment they’ve been missing.
The 3 Pillars of Our Work
01
Embodiment Over Mindset
You may have already learned a lot about psychology and personal growth.
Somatic work moves beyond understanding your story and helps you reconnect with what’s happening in your body - the emotions, sensations and younger parts. Change begins here.
02
Building Safety in an Overextended Nervous System
We work gently to gradually build safety in the body so your nervous system can release the constant pressure to hold everything together.
As safety grows, so does your capacity for rest, support and connection.
This is how we break out of cycles of burnout, exhaustion and collapse..
03
Inner Nourishment
You may be good at taking care of yourself through exercise, sleep, nutrition, podcasts, yet still feel unsupported or disconnected within.
Here, we bring presence and compassion to the parts of you that have carried loneliness, pressure, or unmet needs—parts that cannot be nourished through nutrition & exercise alone. Gradually, greater self-trust, connection and a felt sense of support, emerge from within.
These pillars are based on a body-centric approach to healing and connection that taps into your body’s innate wisdom, feelings, sensations & intuitive whispers to guide your process. Through this approach, we move beyond external self-care into internal self-nourishment where you learn to give yourself what you really need to thrive.
My Approach
Each session is guided by what is present in your body and what your nervous system is ready to explore.
Sessions may include:
-
To learn the language of your felt experience - track your nervous system, connect with sensations and emotions in the body while softening protective patterns.
-
To connect and bring attention to parts of you that may carry grief, loneliness, or unmet needs as well as your inner wisdom.
Inner parent work to heal patterns of self-abandonment and learn to nourish yourself from within.
-
To allow non-verbal processing and connection with the deeper layers of your experience. This may include movement, art or vocal expression.
-
To help you build safety in the body, soften patterns of vigilance and increase relaxation. This includes Vagal Toning Exercises and nervous system mapping.
-
Somatic EFT or EMDR-informed approaches that support the body in processing deeper emotional experiences when they arise.
I’m Natalia, a somatic mentor supporting people in reconnecting with their body and building a felt sense of inner safety.
My work focuses on helping people reestablish lines of communication with the wisdom that lives in the belly, the heart, the shoulders, and anywhere below the neck.
Through this process, people often develop greater self-compassion, deeper trust in themselves, and a growing capacity to receive support from within and without.
If we haven’t met yet, let me introduce myself.
